I had my four days of school holiday.The first two holidays were not much to describe.so let me go to the next two days.the first day which was the eve of Chinese New Year.i went to Golden Village Yishun and bought some tickets to a Indian movie with my family.It was a very very hilarious movie and a stylish movie.The show time was at 9.15p.m..So it was a 3 hours movie and it ended at 12.15a.m..On the way back home,we pass by to a Chinese Temple which was located at Yishun.we pulled over our vehicle and went to the Chinese Temple.it was so colourful with sparkling lights and just in front of me,there were two white lion dance.It was so attractive to be seen.Each movement it does was attracting our eyes.We were quite tired so we made a fast move from there and headed back to our home.When i went to my room and changed back to my clothes and went back to sleep.

1)What did Dr K.K. Seet think of students using the SMS language in their schoolwork and teacher-pupil relationship?
~Dr K.K. Seet have hauled students up for their lack of etiquette.he also believes there should be a certain degree of social decorum and such SMS language takes the student-teacher relationship to level of casualness which he does not like.

2)What feedback did Mrs Adrienne Pereira give on SMS language being shown over national TV?
~She complained that such words "noe'(know),"dun"(don't),"enuf"(enough)and "4"(for) had been repeatedly telecated in the SMS bar during weekly episodes of American Idol on Channel 5.She said that this was a "signal that using a message form of the English language is tolerated and accepted"she said.She added that such messages should not be broadcast on natoinal TV as an English-language station should promote good English.
3)Why do you think Nicholas's spelt "rocks" as "rawks"?
~He spelt that because it was partly out of habit,but also because he feels the creative spelling makes the words more aesthetically pleasing.
4)how did Nicholas's mother react to her son's using SMS language?
~She said that it was the thing for teenagers who are used to these short forms.also she said that when teenagers start writting,they know they have to use good English."

In my point of view, i think using good English is form of good sign as English is a important language that every singaporean are encourage to be learnt.however,students should have a good form of learning and development in their first language which is English by using good english and speak good Englsh.

POVERTY

The message of the video is to emphasize about the poverty,the environment that is surrounding them.It also tells us a message that it is always not too late to make a difference.
I was touched by the people out there having dirty water and foods.Also i was touched by the poverty that occured.I was so touched because i saw the eager and excitement in th children's faces whom wanted education.I realized that the people out there were unhealthy without proper food.I realized people were begging for a living which was so sorrowful.I felt that they did not lead a happy life.
After watching this,as a student i would make a difference by organizing a charity fund for the needy people to decrease the amount of poverty.Also i will not waste any of my food uneccessarily spent my money lessly...
